Job Description

An established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key works on a new Sewage Treatment Works near Worcester. The successful candidate will oversee major concrete and heavy civils operations as part of a self-delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the construction of reinforced concrete tanks, formwork, and access roads for a new STW site.
• Oversee deep drainage activities, heavy civils works, and detailed sequencing on a live infrastructure project.
• Lead self-delivery teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outputs.
• Manage programme delivery, daily reporting, quality assurance, and technical coordination.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Maintain and promote strong health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Strong background in concrete structures, formwork, and heavy civils construction.
• Proven experience with deep drainage and water-sector projects.
• Demonstrated capability in leading self-delivery teams.
• Site management qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid desirable).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
