About the Opportunity

A respected and long-standing consulting firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Water/Wastewater Linear Infrastructure team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 15–20+ years of experience to take on a key leadership role in delivering impactful municipal infrastructure projects.

Location Options

This role can be based out of several Ontario office locations, with flexible hybrid arrangements available.

Role Overview

The focus of this position is the oversight and delivery of linear municipal infrastructure projects, including watermains, sanitary sewers, and forcemains—from early design stages through to approvals and construction administration. This is a client-facing and technically hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on detail, coordination, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
  • Lead the planning, design, approvals, and construction phases using both open-cut and trenchless methods.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers, EITs, technologists, and field staff.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices.
  • Prepare proposals, detailed design packages, tender documents, and regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and uphold high service standards.
What You Bring

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
  • 15–20+ years of progressive experience in municipal linear infrastructure projects.
  • Deep knowledge of municipal/provincial design standards, approvals, and construction processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Assets:
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation.
  • Experience with MS Office, MS Project, and project tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with trenchless technologies such as microtunneling, auger boring, and directional drilling.
