Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Quality Manager on behalf of a Tier 1 design and build contractor delivering mission-critical data centre, pharma, and advanced manufacturing projects across Mainland Europe. This is a meaningful Project Quality Manager job for someone who lives and breathes "Right First Time" and wants to set the quality standard on a landmark build.
 
The Role Reporting to the Project Director and dotted into the International Head of Quality, you'll implement ISO 9001 aligned quality systems, drive inspection and test plans, and ensure compliance across all construction activity. You'll own the quality culture on site — from supplier and subcontractor quality plans through to handover documentation.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes, ITPs and hold points
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with standards and codes
• Drive the "Right First Time" principle and prevent defects across the project lifecycle
• Manage supplier and subcontractor quality — review and approve quality plans
• Maintain comprehensive quality documentation and reporting to stakeholders
• Deliver quality training and awareness across the project team
• Facilitate handover — ensuring all quality documentation is in order

 
What You'll Bring

• Significant experience leading quality in the construction industry
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, quality management or related
• Strong ISO 9001 knowledge — audit leadership experience a plus
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 familiarity advantageous
• CQI / Chartered Quality Professional (CQP) membership desirable
• Strong communicator with root cause analysis and continuous improvement mindset
