Quantity Surveyor - Fit-Out Specialist

We are now seeking a dynamic Quantity Surveyor with fit-out experience to join our team and help manage the financial aspects of our projects from tender through to final account.
Role Overview As a Fit-Out Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in cost management, contract administration, and commercial control of fit-out projects. You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all works are completed on budget and aligned with contract terms.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare, submit, and manage project valuations and cost reports
- Review contract documents and advise on commercial risks
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and accounts
- Assess and negotiate variations, claims, and change orders
- Monitor project budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Assist in tender preparation and cost planning
- Support project delivery teams with commercial insight and reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all financial and contractual matters
Requirements - Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a QS, with a focus on fit-out or interiors
- Relevant qualification (e.g., BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and cost control processes
- Proficient in MS Excel and QS software (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, or similar)
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Full UK driving licence (or local equivalent)
