��️ Rough / Finishing Carpenter (Non-Union)

�� Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge (KWC), ON

�� $30-$38/hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Rough / Finishing Carpenter to join a growing construction team in the KWC area.

This opportunity is ideal for a well-rounded carpenter who is comfortable working across both rough and finish carpentry and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on construction experience, be comfortable reading drawings and specifications, and be able to work independently as well as alongside Site Superintendents, subcontractors, and other trades.

�� Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial and ICI construction projects
- Complete framing, blocking, backing, doors, hardware, trim, millwork, and finishing work�� Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Complete layouts, measurements, cutting, fitting, and installation of materials
- Assist with deficiencies, repairs, renovations, and project closeout work
- �� Coordinate effectively with Site Superintendents, subcontractors, and other trades
- Ensure work is completed accurately and according to project specifications
- �� Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company and site-specific health and safety requirements
- Assist with general site requirements as needed to keep projects moving forward

✅Qualifications
- 3+ years of carpentry experience preferred
- Strong experience with rough and/or finishing carpentry
- ��️ Experience working for a General Contractor is considered a strong asset
- Commercial or ICI construction experience is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and equipment
- �� Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues in the field
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- �� Valid drivers licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to travel to projects throughout the KWC area

�� Compensation$30-$38/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
