Job Description

SSA are looking for a Senior Architect on behalf of our client, an Architecture Firm, based in South Dublin.

Our client are a longstanding firm in South Dublin and work on medium to large scale projects in the hospitality, residential, commercial and leisure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from concept design through to construction and completion
• Act as project lead and primary point of contact for clients and consultant teams
• Coordinate statutory processes including planning, tender, and construction stages
• Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, Planning Policy, and BC(A)R
• Oversee technical design, construction detailing, and information delivery
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external consultants

Candidate Requirements

• Part 3 qualified Architect
• Minimum 8 years’ professional experience
• Experience across hospitality, residential, commercial, sport, or leisure sectors desirable
• Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
• Proven design ability with a track record of delivering practical, buildable solutions
• Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and Planning Policy
• Demonstrable experience working under BC(A)R
• Solid understanding of BIM processes
• Ability to manage projects independently
