Senior Design Engineer / Technologist
Join a Canadian-owned engineering firm known for innovative land development and stormwater management solutions. We’re looking for a Senior Design Engineer/Technologist to lead projects, develop cutting-edge designs, and mentor the next generation of engineers.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Design Department Manager, you’ll take charge of site plan and subdivision projects, preparing detailed grading and servicing designs while coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of grading and servicing plans for various projects.
- Develop Functional Servicing Plans and detailed engineering reports.
- Manage coordination with clients and approval agencies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of design experience in land development or stormwater management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.
- Registration as a P.Eng. or C.E.T. in Ontario is an asset.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and leadership skills.
