Senior Civil Designer (12D)

Senior Civil Designer | 12D | Multiple Queensland Locations!
SSA are proud to partner with a very reputable multidisciplinary engineering consultancy who are looking for a Senior Civil Designer to join their urban development team.
A business with a strong pipeline of projects and already enough work for the next 5 years. You will be joining an already established civil team of engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and design efficiency.
• Apply relevant Australian standards, local government requirements, and Austroads guidelines in design solutions.
• Develop and deliver civil design documentation across urban/ land development and/or transport infrastructure projects.
• Undertake design and documentation using 12D and AutoCAD software.
• Delivering accurate, efficient design solutions that align with project and client expectations, while fostering working relationships with internal teams, clients, and authorities.
Key Criteria:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Associate Diploma)
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in civil design, ideally within a consultancy environment in Australia. (Urban Development project preferred)
• Proficiency in 12D (including Network Editor), AutoCAD, and civil design drawing production.
• Effective communication skills and a professional approach.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning.
