Senior Civil Engineer Location: Vancouver, BC

Key Responsibilities As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will: 
 - Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects, including transportation, land development, and municipal infrastructure.
  - Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including feasibility studies, detailed design, cost estimation, and construction administration.
  - Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex design challenges.
  - Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project execution.
  - Prepare and review engineering drawings, reports, proposals, and specifications.
  - Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  - Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
  - Identify and pursue business development opportunities to grow the client base and secure new projects.
  - Stay current with industry advancements, codes, and standards to ensure innovative and compliant solutions.
  
 About You To succeed in this role, you will need: 
 - A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  - Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia.
  - A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in consulting.
  - Proven expertise in infrastructure design, project management, and construction oversight.
  - Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
  - In-depth knowledge of British Columbia codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  - Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage teams and mentor staff.
  - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and stakeholder coordination.
  - A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and drive business development opportunities.
  - A valid driver’s license and availability to travel to project sites when necessary.
