SSA is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join a leading contractor based in Brisbane, Queensland.
About the Client
They are a large, family-owned Tier 2 building contractor based in Brisbane. The project you would be based on would be a commercial refurbishment in the Brisbane CBD.

- Site-based role in Brisbane
- Very attractive Salary + Benefits: $160,000 + super for the right candidate
- Permanent position
- Become part of a larger health & Safety Team
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HSE Role with a tier 2 building contractor
- Must have or be close to completing the ICAM lead investigator course
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- The readiness to consistently be present on location. demonstrates a commitment and dedication to a Safety-First culture.
- Shows a strong background in health and safety on commercial building sites.
- A history of being able to persuade a range of people
- a team player who supports and cooperates with your group
- You must also meet the prerequisites above and have a minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
- It will be your responsibility to oversee and maintain the entire safety management of your projects.
