My Client are a leading International Engineering Consultancy who are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer who wants the opportunity to apply their creative skills on challenging, high profile projects in their stimulating, inter-disciplinary design studio in Dublin.
  
The successful Senior Structural Engineer will have a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of challenging infrastructure designs in residential, education, retail, workplace, hotel and aviation.
  
Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural design calculations and 3D analysis modelling of projects from the concept stage through to the construction stage.
• Interface with the C&S team and other multi-disciplinary teams within the office.
• Express creative ideas through sketching.
• Communicate effectively to build firm working relationships with architects, engineers, clients and contractors.
• Attend stakeholder & site meetings when required.
• Manager junior team members

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• 6+ years post-qualification experience in structural design ideally gained within a consultancy environment.
• Chartered, or close to gaining Chartered status.
• Experience gained working on complex projects in both the private and public sectors.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent technical aptitude with strong IT skills and be Eurocode literate.
• Be able to communicate effectively to build firm working relationships with architects, engineers, clients and contractors.
• A strong client facing skillset will be required for this role.
• Demonstrate the ability to take the lead on technical issues and have a collaborative team-working style.
• Work effectively with people at all levels and from all backgrounds and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Experienced in interfacing, communication and liaison directly with clients.
• Experience of some civil aspects, including drainage, attenuation and site development works would be an advantage.
