Job Description

I am seeking an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a leading Main Contractor for a major data centre project based in Belgium. The successful candidate will join an experienced project team and take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of site activities.
The company has a strong pipeline of work across Europe, making this a long-term opportunity with excellent career progression.

Our client is a well-established and respected Main Contractor specialising in complex construction, fit-out and technical projects across Europe. They have a strong track record delivering major data centre and controlled-environment projects.

About the role:

• Salary: €60,000 - €65,000 & Living Abroad Package.
• Accommodation & Travel Support.
• Major Data Centre Project.
• Full-time permanent position.

Your main duties will include:

• Managing daily site operations and coordinating subcontractors.
• Supervising site teams and ensuring works progress to programme.
• Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinating site activities with the wider project team.
• Reviewing drawings, RAMS and relevant project documentation.
• Monitoring progress, quality and site performance.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Identifying and resolving issues to keep the project on track.
• Supporting the successful delivery of the project from start to completion.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager or similar role.
• Strong construction or fit-out background.
• Experience on data centre, technical or controlled-environment projects is highly desirable.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings and site documentation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive approach with a strong focus on safety, quality and delivery.
