SSA Group has partnered with a leading Surveying and Spatial Science Firm based in Melbourne, which is seeking surveyors to join their team for an upcoming data centre project. All levels of surveyors are encouraged to contact me to learn more about our client and their requirements.

This role will see you working on large-scale construction projects, supporting site teams with accurate set-out, data capture, and survey control. 

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out construction set-out and as-built surveys on civil and infrastructure projects
• Prepare and manage survey data using 12d Field and 12d Model (Office)
• Establish and maintain survey control networks
• Process and deliver survey data for project teams and engineers
• Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and project managers
• Ensure survey accuracy and compliance with project specifications

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a construction or engineering surveyor
• Strong working knowledge of 12d Field and 12d Model
• Experience on civil, road, rail, or infrastructure projects
• Experience with GNSS/GPS and robotic total stations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
