Network Rail starts hunt for £4bn framework firms

Network Rail has started the hunt for contractors to deliver up to £4bn of infrastructure work across the west of England and Wales.

The regional Control Period 6 (CP6) framework covers building and civil engineering work with provision for signalling, power and communications schemes.

The deal will be split into six lots – two in the Western region and four in Wales.

Early expressions of interest will be required by the end of September with the PQQ process the same week ahead of a contract award by October 2019.
