Responsibilities
- P&L responsibility to grow existing architecture practice
- Business Unit Head with experience in identifying, developing and closing architectural opportunities with public sector and large institutional clients in the tri-state area (NYC agencies, health care facilities and higher education institutions)
- Possess existing relationships with public sector and large institutional clients in the tri-state area (NYC agencies, health care facilities and higher education institutions)
- Skilled and experienced in business development of architecture opportunities
- Have a successful track record managing diverse architecture projects and manage projects from cradle to grave completing projects at a profit
- Expertise in maximizing staff utilization and bill-ability
- Recognized thought-leader in the architecture community
- Skilled in managing and hiring of technical staff
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience as head of architecture practice or Senior Project Manager for large architectural projects
Qualifications
- A degree in Architecture from an accredited college
- Licensed Architect required
- 15+ years experience with the ability to reinvigorate and grow Architecture Business Unit
- Strong relationships with public sector and large institutional clients in the tri-state area (NYC agencies, health care facilities and higher education institutions)
- Must be interested and experienced in focusing on business development aspect of position in addition to managing architecture projects and staff
- Strong leadership skills
