Responsibilities:
- Review of subcontractor quotes for project buyout
- Review of material quotes for procurement to ensure timely delivery
- Create and maintain CPM project schedules for owner and subcontractors
- Establish and meet project goals and milestones
- Complete submittal review as needed
- Create & submit RFI’s
- Schedule and conduct project and coordination meeting with owner – as needed
- Schedule and conduct project meetings with subcontractors – as needed
- Assist project superintendent with planning, quality control and subcontractor relationships.
- Documentation of project challenges and progress
- Review and prepare all potential change orders (PCOs) and prime contract change orders (PCCOs).
- Project budget management
- Ability to successfully resolve conflicts during a project
- Knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety requirements
- Management of monthly payment applications
- Assess and mitigate risks during projects
- Management of closeout documents and procedures
- Willingness to learn and teach
Qualifications:
- 3 – 7 years’ experience as construction project manager, preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction management, building sciences, or engineering field, preferred
