About the company: My client has been established for nearly 60 years. The company are based in Southeast London and has established itself as one of the largest industrial Decommissioning, Dismantling, Demolition and Asbestos removal companies in the world. They have an annual turnover in excess of £50 million.

About the role: My client has a need to add to their safety team and have an opening for a Risk and Compliance Manager to cover demolition projects across the UK. You will be office based for 50% of the role and covering sites for the rest. The role is heavily focused on overall compliance but compliance with the companies’ explosive methods and enabling works process leading up to the explosive demolition event. You must have strong communication skills to liaise daily with the site team and client. This is multisite role covering up to 3 projects where you will be the compliance lead.

About the requirements: You must have a safety qualification, Degree, NEBOSH or equivalent. Previous Demolition experience is preferred. You will assist in developing the Safety concept for the business who are very much open to new ideas and growing a strong safety culture.
