The Client: The client is a specialist RC Frame and Ground work contractor. They have been a leading subcontractor for the last 50 years in London and merit a lot of respect in the industry. They work on projects up to the value of £8m and have a turnover nearing £25m.
 
About the Role:
Main point of Support for the pre-construction/ Project teams including:

  • Preparing files
  • Printing Drawings
  • Preparing Presentations / various documents

Managing incoming tenders including:

  • Logging tenders
  • Downloading drawings & filing accordingly
  • Preparing Drawing/Document Registers
  • Declining Tenders
  • Liaising with clients regarding tenders
    • Requesting additional information where needed
    • Requesting files in various formats
  • Preparing tenders for submissions
  • Managing our tender management database, and keeping up to date.
  • Helping to maintain drawings for current Jobs
  • Taking calls for the Pre- Construction Department
  • Preparing Pre-Qualification Questionnaires
  • Regular Archiving
  • Preparing Site files
  • Providing admin support to active sites & project management teams
  • Booking various meetings, events and accommodation
  • Holiday Planner for pre-con office team
  • Ensuring that all relevant procedures are adhered to Document Control, Archiving, NDA’s etc.

 
Skills Required:

  • Excellent Outlook & Microsoft office skills
  • Desirable knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Excellent communication Skills
  • Excellent verbal & written English
  • Good knowledge of Web based document Portals: 4projects, conject, asite etc.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team
  • Must have good telephone manner
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise
  • Ideally has previous experience working in construction
