My Client are aiming to become clients 1st choice design and build Geostructural solution provider for projects in London, Home Counties and the south coast. They will do this by providing safe, innovate, value engineered solutions for new build foundations that are installed faster than any other suitable method, on time.

As a document controller you would join their technical team working under the supervision of the Technical Director. Duties will be as per job description.

Job Description:

  • Reviewing, sorting, naming/numbering, filing of information received, setting up standard folders etc for new projects.
  • Requesting additional information required by either geotechnical or structural engineers.
  • Manage RFI process on newly secured projects.
  • Log, file and check design information received before being handed over for detailed design.
  • Assist the business with implementation of document control management systems that work effectively and efficiently
  • Liaise with technical director on design information handover.
  • To liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties
  • Manage the approval process of design information issued to 3rd parties
  • Create and maintain drawing registers for “live” projects
  • Good understanding of IT and demonstrable experience of working with
  • collaborative extranet or internet based EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) platforms, such as Aconex, 4site projects.
  • Assist with the production of operation and maintenance manuals for projects
  • Prepare companies O&M pack and issue to client.

Remuneration:

  • Salary £25,000 per year
  • 28 days holiday which includes bank holidays
