Project Manager | Highways project | Bicester – Oxfordshire – Permanent
Salary and package – £65-75k (upper range more experienced candidates) + 6k car allowance, 6% pension and single healthcare.

About the Role:
Project Manager needed for a long-term role with a leading Highways Contractor Engineering. Must be Degree qualified with Civil / Infrastructure experience required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience and in managing a team. What is on offer is long term work with a leading Civil Engineering Contractor with potential Progression into senior Project Manager /Contracts Managers role.
- Project includes- service trenching and diversions coordination; curbs and drainage; re-tarmacking
- Groundworks/infrastructure experience, ideally having worked within the constraints of 278 schemes
- Sub-contractor management
- Cad experienced and trained
- Streets works tickets and TWC preferred
- Competent doing their own QA and as-builts
About the Requirements: Technical Skills and Experience
- Technically competent and skilled/experienced in a recognised/relevant trade, NVQ level 4 certified or higher.
- Demonstrable experience and proven track record within a Ganger/Supervisor/Foreman role,
- working on related type/scale of projects. Experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary operational teams.
- Certified in – SMSTS; IOSH ; CSCS ; First Aid ; Work at Heights Awareness ; SHED ; Black Hat;
Temporary works coordinator.
- Experience of change and cost management – commercially and contractually aware.
- Strong programme and project management experience.
- Proven ability to foster and enhance client relationships.
- Working knowledge and experience of internal and client digital systems
