The role of Senior External Manager, to assist the build function on the scheme with managing Production, Quality and Health & Safety. The role will include directing and management of the site wide team on a day-to-day basis and the coordination of site wide activities. To perform a technical, organisational and management role on site, and ensuring that the design and specification is implemented and controlled on site. Support the project team in delivering organisational Key Performance Indicators, aligned to business targets, culture and core values.

They are currently seeking a Senior Extern Manager to oversee a stunning 40-acre park, the development is an inspiring collection of studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, duplexes and 3 bedroom houses.
About The Role:
- Be competent and ensure full compliance with Group and BLF OHS&E procedures.
- Comply with Safety Training programme and protocols.
- Assist with the documentation and filing of all safety records.
- Ensure records of SMSTS/SSSTS, first aid, competency certificates etc are kept on file.
- Direction of the site wide team in the management of production activities.
- Contractor liaison to ensure coordination between trades is maintained.
- Assist with the monitoring trade progress against a build programme.
- Manage and develop the assistant site managers under your core areas and packages.
- Be familiar with the requirements of the Capital Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure all contractor Quality Management Plans and ITPs are reviewed and signed off as required.
- Implement the quality management systems throughout the build process including Field View by ensuring Quality and Inspection & Test Plans are prepared and approved prior to commencing works.
- Liaise with Project Manager and Commercial team regarding instructions and variations.
- Understand contract documents and PSI’s.
- Assist in the development of contractor scope and the tendering process.
- Clear commercial acumen to ensure that site activities are planned as set out in the contract and program.
- Ensure managers maintain a delay log and provide weekly updates to the Project Manager.
- Assist with the documentation of delay information.
- Ensure the Integrated Master Programme is monitored and progressed weekly.
- Develop short term target and recovery programmes as necessary.

- Labour and subcontractor site management & motivation.
- Site Management of Health & Safety, risk assessment and method statements.
- Quality management responsibility on site for the process and final product.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and consultants.
- SMSTS
- First Aid Qualification.
- Experience with Considerate Constructors Scheme Recruitment Requirement
- Trades background (Carpentry / Dry Lining) Or degree qualified
