About the Client: Our client provides design and build valued engineering foundations solutions from their in house team of chartered structural & geotechnical engineers. Their service offering covers, Piling, Groundworks & Civils, Reinforced concrete foundations and structures.
About the Role:
- Designing across a range of projects, specialising in reinforced concrete
- Producing detailed load take downs
- Producing design and build concepts for pricing department
- Providing technical support to estimating and construction team
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications / experience / aptitude:
- Significant experience of buildings structures design experience to British standards and Eurocodes in a consulting engineering firm
- Experience in all the main materials
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Already worked towards Chartered status or be working towards this ideally
- Excellent experience working within a structural engineering role
- Experience in design of reinforced concrete
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Problem solver with a practical approach
- Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work independently
