Electrical Engineer – Innovative Jobs – Tier 1 Build Projects
I have an exceptional opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a very well-established Electrical contractor. Not only have they been established for 30 + years but their pipeline of work is not slowing down. They have several innovative Tier 1 projects about to kick off in 2022 and are always looking to grow and expand their already successful team.

Minimum requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience working at Electrical consultant / Electrical contractor design team
- Experience in software packages including but not limited to: AutoCad, Revit, PowerCAD, DIALux (or AGI)
- Exposure to and understanding of AS standards / BCA
- Ability to self-manage and co-ordinate projects with other trades and liaise with builders.
Job description:
- Carry out design tasks assigned to by Senior Engineer, Estimators, Project Managers or Site Foremen.
- Develop an understanding of the overall project and effectively communicate with the project team.
- Manage the timely delivery of the design and the documentation.
- Ensure compliance with the project requirements as part of the design process.
- Coordination of the design with the other relevant trades and stakeholders.
- Improve the efficiency of the design to reduce the cost while meeting the project and the compliance requirements.
- Design interior and exterior lighting using Dialux, AGi32 or both software packages.
- Carry out maximum demand calculations in accordance with the Australian Standard, AS3000.
- Carry out cable and breaker sizing calculations using PowerCad software.
- Re-design single line diagrams to achieve better efficiency.
- Assist the drafting / modelling team with their workload when needed.
