Top Contractor within Canada who are looking to add a concrete foreman to their growing team based in Toronto. Growing office with a growing backlog of work in Concrete projects in excess of $25 Million.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight on all aspects of the project.
- Work with the Project Manager establishing schedule, staffing requirements, submittals, material orders, change orders, RFI’s purchase orders, invoicing/billing and weekly reports.
- Ensure subcontractor/trades work quality, accuracy and coordinated in a timely manner.
- Provide value engineering where required, quality control on completed tasks ensuring accuracy of work and quality of product.
- Ensure company site-safety program and procedures are being followed and log weekly reports.
- Supervise and lead all on-site personnel including mentoring junior staff, assigning tasks and responsibilities for growth.
- Work with Management, Engineers and Inspectors for queries and assistance when required for field issues and inspections.
- Responsible for success and accuracy of all completed on-site activities including punch lists and throughout the construction process.
- Ability to lead, mentor and motivate project teams throughout the construction phase.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field/ or equivalent field experience – Minimum 5 years experience in heavy civil construction.
- Thorough understanding of building processes, construction codes and systems; strong ability to identify and resolve complex building issues.
- Detail orientated team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude who can motivate the project team, ensure high morale and allow junior staff to prosper.
