PROJECT COORDINATOR – VANCOUVER
Our client, one of Vancouver’s leading and most prestigious Mechanical Contractors is looking to add an experienced and motivated Project Coordinator/Account Manager to their well-established and high achieving Mechanical Department.
Working with freedom and creativity, as Project Coordinator/Account Manager you will be tasked with building long lasting and prosperous relationships with key decision makers across the areas of Refrigeration, HVAC and Plumbing. Reporting to Senior Management and Director level, as Project Coordinator/Account Manager you will be tasked but not limited to following responsibilities:
- Build strong, effective and long-lasting relationships with key decision makers, both internally and externally
- Ensure clients are at the kept up-to-date regarding project developments and time-frames through effective communication
- Liaise with Mechanical Estimating department in the generation of project proposals for existing and new clients
- Prepare and review documentation required prior to bid submission
- Monitor project updates through reoccurring site visits
- Ensuring clients are briefed on project updates and time-frames through scheduling weekly or monthly meetings
- Negotiate contracts to ensuring spend is reduced
- Explore and identify new territories, clients and opportunities
- Liaise with multiple in-house departments ensuring all knowledge is shared
Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- Degree qualified, ideally to Bachelors’ level
- 4+ years’ post grad working experience within the Mechanical Industry
- Prior experience across Refrigeration, HVAC and Plumbing is highly desirable
- Previous experience with job task planning, decision making and problem-solving
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Organised individual with strong prioritization skills
