For a Dublin-based post, SSA is looking for a Junior Health and Safety Officer on behalf of a reputable Civil Engineering Contractor. This is a full-time position with the company.
About the client:
Our client is a reputable Tier 1 Main Contractor with a solid reputation in the construction industry. They have a large number of active and finished projects all across the country, as well as a number of projects in Europe.
About the role:
- Dublin-based & site-based role.
- Suitable for college graduates or experienced candidates.
- Joining a top 5 CIF construction firm.
- Join a well-established Safety team.
- The role is permanent.
Your main duties will include, but are not be limited to:
- Assist with the planning of training sessions, the preparation of documentation, and the filing of completed paperwork.
- Work efficiently both on-site and in the office.
- Assist in the delivery of Tool Box Talks.
- Upkeep safety documents and papers.
- Work successfully with Senior Health and Safety personnel and the broader management team.
- On-site, foster a strong safety culture.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following:
- Qualifications or experience which is relevant.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Full Irish Driving License.
