I am seeking a Site Engineer on behalf of a highly reputable Civil Engineering Contractor for a new project in Dublin which they have recently commenced work on. €40k – €45k + vehicle on offer, depending on experience.
The company in question have been around for a long time and have a strong portfolio of ongoing and planned projects. You will be based on a roads project initially, and will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of interesting projects thereafter.
The company have a lot of work in the pipeline so this is a permanent, long-term position with the company.
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Providing administrative and technical support the Project Team
- Maintaining site record such as daily and weekly registers
- Surveying and setting out using Total Station, GPS
- Day-to-day supervision of site personnel
- Promoting and ensuring high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on projects
- Supervising and managing sub-contractors
- Assist in the preparation of method statements and risk assessments for construction activities

To be successful in your application you will possess the following:
- Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management
- 1-3 years site experience
- IT literate
- Motivated individual with excellent communication skills
- A positive, “can do” approach, determined to succeed
- Full clean driving license
