Job Description

SSA are looking for an Architectural Technologist on behalf of our client, an Architecture Firm, based in Cork.

They are looking for an ambitious and talented technologist to join their team and contribute to a range of medium to large scale projects across the residential, healthcare, education and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Develop and coordinate BIM models using Revit.
• Produce high-quality AutoCAD drawing packages.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations and industry standards.
• Assist with planning applications, tender documentation, and contract administration.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and technical reviews during construction stages
• Participate in project coordination meetings and client presentations.
• Maintain project documentation and BIM standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Architectural Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ Irish experience in an architectural practice.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge.
• Good understanding of Irish Building Regulations and BCAR processes.
• Experience producing construction-stage documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage workload across multiple projects and deadlines.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
