SSA are currently recruiting for an up and coming M&E company who are working on a Pharma Plant project in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. They are seeking a well experienced Construction Manager with a background in Medical Construction to join their team on a Permanent position.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and coordinate construction activities for medical construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient execution and integration of mechanical and process engineering solutions within healthcare facilities.
- Oversee on-site construction progress, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations that may impact the project timeline or quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with construction plans and safety standards, providing guidance and corrective actions as necessary.
- Oversee and manage the utilization of resources, equipment, and materials on-site to optimize efficiency and productivity.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A relevant degree/Qualification in Construction Management/Engineering or similar
5+ years experience in a similar role within the medical/pharma construction industry
