Our client, experts in Architectural & Structural Concrete they are seeking a Construction Safety Officer (CSO) who’s passionate about keeping people safe, ensuring compliance, and building a strong safety culture on complex concrete projects across the Lower Mainland.
As a key member of their site leadership team, you'll be responsible for promoting and enforcing health and safety protocols while working alongside some of the best concrete professionals in the industry.

As a key member of their site leadership team, you'll be responsible for promoting and enforcing health and safety protocols while working alongside some of the best concrete professionals in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce site safety protocols in line with WorkSafeBC
- Conduct daily site inspections, safety orientations, and toolbox talks
- Investigate incidents, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incidents
- Work closely with site superintendents, project managers, and crews to ensure a safe work environment
- Lead by example — drive safety culture through education, mentorship, and accountability
- Valid CSO Certification (BC recognized)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a CSO role within civil or concrete construction
- Strong knowledge of BC’s OH&S regulations and WorkSafeBC requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence to lead safety meetings and address concerns proactively
