Electrical BIM Technician

Location: Mississauga, ON


We are currently hiring a Electrical BIM Technician on behalf of a leading electrical company supporting major infrastructure projects across the GTA.


This role will support a growing team focused on advanced BIM coordination and digital delivery.


Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate advanced 3D Revit/Navisworks models for electrical systems including power distribution, circuiting, conduit layouts, grounding, lightning protection, lighting systems, lighting controls, and fire alarm systems
• Support Electrical Engineers with calculations, equipment selection, and system coordination
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, digital workflows, and quality control procedures
• Mentor and support BIM/Revit team members while promoting best practices in digital delivery
• Assist with project setup and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, structural, and architectural disciplines
• Support the development and implementation of BIM automation tools and workflows
• Work independently and collaboratively under senior technical leadership on complex infrastructure projects

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Electrical BIM/Revit modelling and coordination within a consulting environment
• Advanced proficiency in Revit 3D & Navisworks modelling
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design and multidisciplinary coordination
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project environments
