Our client, A reputable Electrical Contractor, are rapidly expanding throughout Ireland, with a specific focus on, commercial, data centre, pharma and healthcare, sectors. This company is a multi-disciplined engineering contractor delivering diverse high-end projects throughout Ireland

About the role:

Duties Include (But not Limited to):

Draft, review, negotiate, and manage client, subcontractor, vendor contracts, NDAs, and change orders from award to closeout.

Maintain centralized contract records, tracking all active agreements, insurance certificates, and bonds.

Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual, financial, and legal risks; ensure compliance with laws and company policies.

Oversee insurance, bonding, and safety, quality, and schedule compliance in collaboration with Project Management teams.

Support project teams with contract interpretation, bid reviews, claims preparation, and dispute resolution.

Monitor project financials, including billing schedules, retention, and milestone payments.

Serve as primary contractual liaison with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, reporting contract status and risks to senior management

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Law, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in contracts or commercial management within electrical or general construction.

Proven expertise in drafting, negotiating, and administering complex construction contracts.

Strong knowledge of standard construction contract forms, including scope, schedule, pricing, warranties, and indemnities.

Solid understanding of construction law, risk allocation, and dispute resolution processes.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management software
