SSA are recruiting an Environmental Manager on behalf of a multinational Main Contractor to be based on a Landmark Datacentre project in Helsinki. This is a permanent position within the company.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Regulatory Compliance:
  
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and legislation.
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and submit required reports and documentation.
• Environmental Management Systems:
  
  • Develop, implement, and maintain environmental management systems (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to EMS.
• Sustainability Initiatives:
  
  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives to reduce waste, conserve energy, and promote recycling.
  • Promote environmental awareness and engage employees in sustainability practices.
• Impact Assessments:
  
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) for new projects and activities.
  • Identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation plans.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Hold a relevant Qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of Environmental experience.
• Datacentre experience preferable.
