My Client are a leading international Engineering Consultancy who are seeking a strong Senior Electrical Design Engineer to manage and undertake design work and technical project co-ordination in Dublin.
The successful Electrical Engineer will be a part of a busy team providing design and technical services on various project types, including but not limited to Workplace, Healthcare, Education, Historic, Leisure and Residential developments.

Responsibilities:
  • The successful Electrical Engineer will be responsible for Project Planning and Team Management.
  • Design of sustainable, energy efficient and resilient Electrical Services and Installations.
  • Compilation of Specifications for Electrical Services and Installations.
  • Ensuring full co-ordination between specifications and drawings.
  • Estimating & cost control.
  • Compiling project reports.
  • Conceptual design studies and reports.
  • Liaising with architects, clients and other stakeholders to set the constraints of the electrical design and co-ordinate with all other disciplines.
  • Mentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers in the group.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • The successful Electrical Engineer will be Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, ideally will hold a Masters.
  • Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience, most of which will be in design gained within a consultancy environment.
  • Chartered or Progressing to achieve chartership.
  • Have a broad experience of the industry, detailed knowledge of the design of building services systems and a keen interest in passive design techniques, sustainable environmental solutions and renewable energy technologies
  • Capable of offering informed and intelligent comment on issues related to the creation of sustainable buildings
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in using front end design tools such as IES, and are fully CAD and IT literate
  • Experienced in working within a Revit environment and a desire to develop these skills
  • Successfully designed and delivered a number of significant projects across a range of scales and sectors
  • Results driven, enjoy challenging opportunities, have a positive attitude and are resourceful.
