Drylining Estimator - Essex

My Client is a leading drylining and interior fit-out contractor, proudly delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Drylining Estimator to join our team based in Essex.

The Role As a Drylining Estimator, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for drylining, partitioning, suspended ceilings, and related packages. You’ll work closely with the commercial and project teams to secure new work and ensure profitable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit competitive estimates and tender submissions
• Take off quantities from drawings and specifications
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes
• Analyse project risks and opportunities
• Work with the pre-construction and delivery teams on bid strategy
• Attend tender meetings and site visits when required
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience estimating drylining or interior fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of SFS, MF ceilings, partitions, and plastering systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ConQuest, Excel)
• Highly organised with excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving licence
