Graduate Mechanical Engineer | Leinster

Our client, A reputable Mechanical Contractor, are rapidly expanding throughout Ireland, with a specific focus on, building services and mechanical projects. This company is a multi-disciplined engineering contractor delivering diverse high-end projects throughout Ireland
About the role:
• Leinster Based position
• Join a highly reputable Mechanical Contractor
• Excellent opportunity to grow and develop with an established industry leader
• Working on multimillion projects across Ireland
• €35,000-€40,000 salary
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Interpret and analyse technical drawings and layouts.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including consultants, structural engineers, design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Participate in project and technical meetings to support successful project delivery.
- Prepare O&M manuals accurately and within required deadlines.
Supervise subcontractors and site personnel to ensure project timelines are achieved.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to guarantee timely and high-quality delivery of components.
- Plan and execute work efficiently to meet project objectives.
- Ensure all activities adhere to strict health, safety, and quality standards.
- Monitor material orders and manage on-site inventory effectively
Position requirements:
- Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with BIM/CAD is desirable, though not mandatory.
- Previous placement or internship experience with a mechanical contractor or industry supplier is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
