Our client is looking for a strong, hands-on Health & Safety Manager to lead, own, and continuously improve their Health & Safety program across construction operations in the London area. This role is ideal for someone who has deep COR experience and knows how to move safety beyond paperwork and into day-to-day site culture.
You'll be the go-to leader for safety strategy, compliance, audits, and training—working closely with site teams, leadership, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered safely and in full regulatory compliance.

You'll be the go-to leader for safety strategy, compliance, audits, and training—working closely with site teams, leadership, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered safely and in full regulatory compliance.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead and maintain the company's COR certification, including audits, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop, implement, and enforce company-wide Health & Safety policies, procedures, and programs
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, complete root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Deliver toolbox talks, onboarding, and safety training for employees and subcontractors
- Track, analyze, and report on safety performance metrics for senior leadership
- Partner with project teams, superintendents, and foremen to drive safe work practices on site
- Stay current on OHSA legislation, construction regulations, and industry best practices
- 5+ years of Health & Safety experience in construction or industrial environments
- Proven COR experience (audit preparation, maintenance, and certification)
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- CRSP, CHSC, NCSO, or similar designation (or actively working toward)
- Strong working knowledge of OHSA and Ontario construction regulations
- Confident communicator who can coach, influence, and hold teams accountable
- Practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong field presence
- Up to $130,000 salary, based on experience
