They are a leading construction-focused engineering firm based in Greater Vancouver, specializing in delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) solutions for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. Core Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems: heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution for commercial and institutional buildings.
• Prepare drawings, thermal load calculations, equipment selections, and energy efficiency studies.
• Coordinate with structural, electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and performance testing of HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with local codes (BC Building Code, ASHRAE, etc.).
• Conduct field troubleshooting, inspections, and site reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
• P.Eng designation preferred (or EIT status in-progress).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design software (e.g. Trane Trace, HAP, Revit MEP).
• Familiarity with sustainability standards (LEED, BOMA, Passive House, etc.).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
