Job Description

The Company: A comprehensive engineering firm that covers various disciplines, including civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy modeling, and fire protection design.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with an Engineer or Project Manager to create drawings, plans, sketches, and designs.
• Prepare reports under their supervision.
• Assist in developing preliminary and detailed grading, drainage, and servicing plans for land development.
• Perform design calculations for storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and stormwater management facilities.
• Generate technical memoranda, construction plans, and specifications.
• Maintain Civil 3D templates.
• Be prepared for occasional travel and fieldwork.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related field) from an accredited university, including coursework related to urban water systems and municipal infrastructure.
• Alternatively, a diploma in civil engineering technology/drafting with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and successfully complete deliverables.
• Effective communication and collaboration with other departments.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Analytical, thorough, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
• Fluent in English.
