My Client are a leading Engineering Consultancy who are seeking a Civil Design Engineer who wants the opportunity to apply their creative skills on challenging, high profile projects in their design office in Galway.
  
The successful Civil Design Engineer will have a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of challenging infrastructure designs in residential, education, retail, workplace, hotel and aviation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• The successful Civil Design Engineer will have a minimum Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Have a minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in general civil works including planning and construction/tender preparation and SuDS, general roads infrastructure, technical reports etc.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Design Standards, DMRB, Local Design Guides, GDSDS, SuDS Manual etc. Candidate will receive training on the above and skills will be developed through experience gained.
• The use and application of Microdrainage / WinDES design/ AutoCAD
• Familiar with principles of Sustainable Drainage (SuDS)
• General design of Road Works including familiarity with DMRB and DMURS
• General drainage works design
• The use and application of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel etc.

Benefits:

• €45,000 to €55,000 – Dependent on Experience
