SSA Recruitment are working with a leading Mechanical Contractor based Sydney seeking an experienced HVAC Site Manager.

About the Role:
Working with Project Managers and a highly regarded Construction Manager, you will play an important role with the on-site delivery of large scale, high profile projects from $1 million up to $20 million ensuring that the highest possible levels of quality and service are delivered.

What will I be doing?

• Manage on-site HVAC installations
• Manage and forecast onsite subcontractors, trades and labour requirements
• Manage procurement, deliveries of equipment and materials
• Review plans, designs and drawings
• Attend site co-ordination meetings with Project Managers and Builders
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project delivery
• Assist in the mentoring and coaching of junior team members and apprentices
• Ensure on-site WHS practices are followed including Tool Box talks

About You

• Previous experience as a HVAC Site Supervisor / Manager with a trade background in either Air Conditioning, Mechanical Plumbing or Sheet Metal
• Extensive knowledge of the Australian Standards relevant to the HVAC industry
• Proven ability to develop strong partnerships with and engage/influence key stakeholders
• Effective interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trusting and respectful relationships at all levels
• Ability to adapt to unique and challenging environments
• A strong desire to accept a challenge and deliver results
