Project Manager | Commercial Construction | Fit-Out & Refurbishment

$150,000 - $160,000 + Super | Melbourne Metro |

An established commercial builder is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Melbourne team. Delivering projects up to $7M, this role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio including fit-out, refurbishment, remediation, extensions and defects projects.
Working alongside a young, energetic team of 12 office staff, you will take ownership of projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality. The role is primarily office-based in Melbourne with regular site visits across metro projects.
We're seeking a technically strong Project Manager with excellent construction knowledge and a practical understanding of building methodology. A trade background would be highly regarded, but is not essential. You'll be confident managing multiple stakeholders, driving project outcomes, and providing guidance and mentorship to Contract Administrators.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from award through to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and clients.
• Monitor project programmes, budgets and quality outcomes.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Mentor and support Contract Administrators.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery.

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering commercial construction projects.
• Experience across fit-out, refurbishment
• Strong technical construction knowledge and understanding of construction methodology.
• Trade background desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
