Intermediate Civil-Municipal Engineer to support a growing portfolio of infrastructure projects across British Columbia. The firm is known for delivering practical, forward-thinking solutions to complex municipal challenges and fostering a highly collaborative and flexible work environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to contribute to the design and delivery of essential community infrastructure—including
pump stations, force mains, sewer and water systems, PRV stations, and related municipal facilities.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and support civil design work for a variety of municipal infrastructure projects, from concept through to construction.
- Deliver detailed design drawings, specifications, and tender documents for utility systems.
- Perform site inspections, construction supervision, and contract administration.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and condition assessments for water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Work closely with CAD teams, field staff, and subconsultants to ensure quality project delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and permitting authorities during all project phases.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support internal technical reviews.
What We're Looking For - A P.Eng. designation (or eligible) in a Canadian province.
- 8-15 years of experience in municipal civil infrastructure, with a focus on water, wastewater, and storm systems.
- A solid understanding of municipal design standards, permitting, and construction practices.
- Experience delivering projects in both the public and private sectors.
- Proficiency in preparing design packages and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Previous consulting engineering experience strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and comfort with site visits when required.
