Junior Mechanical Engineer | Cork

Our client, A reputable Mechanical Contractor, are rapidly expanding throughout Ireland, with a specific focus on, commercial, data centre, pharma and healthcare, sectors. This company is a multi-disciplined engineering contractor delivering diverse high-end projects throughout Ireland
About the role:
• Covering projects in Cork
• Join a highly reputable Mechanical Contractor
• Excellent opportunity to grow and develop with an established industry leader
• Working on multimillion projects across Cork
• €35-40k salary
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
-Create and modify CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation.
-Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams on project execution.
-Conduct basic simulations and analyses to support product development.
-Participate in troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives.
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and engineering best practices.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
-Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
-Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
-Internship or project experience in mechanical engineering is a plus
