SSA are recruiting Quantity Surveyors (Junior, Intermediate & Senior) on behalf of a well-established Residential Contractor based in Co. Kildare.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of housing developments, our client is expanding their commercial team and is seeking ambitious Quantity Surveyors at all levels.

About the roles
These positions will involve working on large-scale residential developments, including housing schemes and multi-unit projects.

Key responsibilities (depending on level) include:

• Assisting with or leading the full commercial management of residential projects
• Cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
• Preparing valuations and managing variations
• Monitoring project costs and forecasting
• Identifying commercial risks and advising senior management
• Mentoring junior staff (Senior level)

Position requirements

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Junior: 1–3 years’ experience
• Intermediate: 3–6 years’ experience
• Senior: 6+ years’ experience
• Experience in residential construction (preferred)
• Strong commercial awareness and reporting skills
• Full driving licence
