SSA Group is seeking a surveyor to join our client’s team in Melbourne. this is an excellent opportunity for a confident surveyor to take the next step in their career and work as the party leader for a leading Melbourne firm

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a field survey crew on cadastral and engineering projects
• Conduct cadastral surveys, including boundary re-establishment, subdivisions, and title surveys
• Perform construction and engineering set-out works
• Operate and maintain survey equipment including Trimble robotic total stations and GPS systems
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company procedures
• Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders on-site
• Record, process, and review field data using survey software

Key Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years’ surveying experience post University or TAFE qualification
• University Degree in Surveying, TAFE Diploma in Surveying, or a minimum of five (5) years’ industry experience
• Proven experience leading a field party, particularly in cadastral surveying
• Strong understanding of cadastral survey practices and relevant legislation
