Job Description

We are recruiting for a Project Director on behalf of a well-established architecture and design firm with a strong data centre project portfolio. This is a compelling job opportunity for a Project Director who wants to lead complex, multi-disciplinary design projects for major national and international clients from a central Frankfurt base.

The Role
As Project Director, you will carry full end-to-end responsibility for project delivery — quality, cost and programme — acting as the primary client contact and leading coordination across interdisciplinary planning teams that include specialist consultants, structural engineers, surveyors and authorities. This is a senior job with genuine autonomy and client-facing influence from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving as main point of contact and key relationship owner for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Leading all coordination with clients, authorities and approval bodies
• Holding overall project responsibility across quality, cost and schedule
• Coordinating and optimising design workflows within interdisciplinary, international planning teams
• Integrating and managing external service providers including specialist planners, consultants, surveyors and geotechnical engineers
• Driving project approvals and navigating German planning and permitting processes

What You'll Bring

• Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Building Services
• Minimum 9 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in a comparable Project Director role
• Strong understanding of planning and approval processes within the German construction industry
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary and international design teams
• Fluent German (C2) and English (C1) — both required
