SSA are currently looking for a
Project Planner / Resource Co-ordinator for a leading M&E Contractor based in South Dublin.

An established Irish mechanical and electrical engineering contractor, operating nationwide across Ireland. Established in 1968, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering services across the data centre, pharmaceutical, medical, commercial and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using planning software.
- Create work breakdown structures (WBS), project timelines and key milestones.
- Monitor project progress against baseline schedules.
- Track planned versus actual man-hours and report on variances.
- Develop resource plans and support workforce planning across projects.
- Monitor resource utilisation, capacity and labour requirements.
- Provide regular project progress, resource and capacity reports.
- Identify potential scheduling and resource issues and escalate risks accordingly.
- Support Project Managers with planning and coordination activities.
- Assist in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate planning and resource documentation.
- Work closely with Business Unit Managers and project teams to ensure effective resource allocation.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.
- 3–5 years' experience in project planning, coordination, resource planning or PMO environments.
- Strong understanding of resource loading and workforce planning.
- Experience tracking man-hours and labour forecasting.
- Experience using project management and planning software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience within an M&E, construction or engineering environment would be advantageous.
