We're working with a well-established and growing engineering consultancy to support a key leadership hire as part of their expansion into the Vancouver market.
Our client has built a strong reputation across Canada delivering Building Envelope and Structural Engineering services, and they are now looking to establish a presence in BC. This hire will play a pivotal role in launching and leading their Vancouver office.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Building Envelope professional who is looking to step into a strategic, leadership-driven role with real influence over business growth, team development, and market presence.
The Opportunity
As an Associate, you will take ownership of establishing and growing the Vancouver office. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will:
- Lead the setup and growth of the Vancouver operation
- Drive business development and secure new projects
- Build and maintain client relationships across the BC market
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
- Oversee delivery of building envelope and building science projects
- Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives
- Represent the business in the market through industry engagement
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years' experience in Building Envelope / Building Science
- P.Eng. designation (multi-province registration considered an asset)
- Strong network and presence in the Vancouver / BC market
- Proven track record in winning work and leading teams
- Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion
- Leadership mindset with a passion for growing teams and businesses
