Senior Geotechnical Engineer Location: Abbotsford or Victoria, BC
Salary: $110,000 - $180,000 + performance bonus (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage geotechnical investigations and field programs for a wide range of infrastructure, industrial, and land development projects.
- Provide technical expertise on projects involving deep foundations, shoring, slope stability, and ground improvement.
- Analyze data, develop design recommendations, and prepare high-quality technical reports.
- Prepare and review project proposals, cost estimates, and scopes of work.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders throughout each project phase.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and resource planning to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Attend client meetings, construction sites, and other consultant offices as needed for project coordination and field reviews.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and represent the firm at local industry events.
- Support and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across offices.
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance for their technical and professional growth.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering (Master's degree an asset).
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (or eligible for registration).
- 8-10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience in a Canadian consulting environment.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in geotechnical design and analysis software.
- Proven track record of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience leading project teams and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid BC driver's license and ability to complete occasional fieldwork in various weather conditions and remote locations.
