Full-time

We’re seeking a Senior Pre Construction Manager with a strong commercial interiors background to lead all internal technical design, pricing, and contract matters from tender stage through to adjudication. This is a key leadership role for someone with a balance of commercial acumen, design understanding, and technical precision.

About the Role

As Senior Pre Construction Manager, you’ll take ownership of the pre-contract process, working closely with design and delivery teams to ensure that every project is commercially sound, technically correct, and executable within budget and programme constraints. You’ll represent the business in client meetings and presentations, ensuring proposals are both compelling and achievable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all technical, pricing, and contractual aspects of commercial interior fit-out tenders
  • Price project tenders accurately in line with brief, design intent, and gross profit targets
  • Collaborate with design and technical teams to ensure all designs are deliverable and fully costed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive rates
  • Manage and maintain pricing documentation and tender information in company systems
  • Prepare all cost documentation and programmes for client pitches and rehearsals
  • Review and interpret contracts to protect business interests, engaging legal counsel when required
  • Produce pre-contract programmes and critical path activities
  • Support internal handover and adjudication processes to ensure smooth project transition
  • Ensure all designs and specifications comply with Building Regulations, Planning, and Building Control
  • Uphold CDM requirements and company policies relating to quality, environment, health, safety, and ethics
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in cost planning and value engineering
  • Strong pre-contract commercial background in office design & build
  • In-depth knowledge of JCT contracts
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Highly motivated, driven, and proactive with a “can-do” attitude
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and coordinate teams
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the industry or a degree-level qualification in a related field
Why Join

You’ll be part of a dynamic, design-led environment where your technical and commercial expertise will directly shape high-profile workplace projects. If you’re passionate about delivering projects that blend creativity, functionality, and precision — this is your opportunity to make an impact.
